Do I need pictures of my house?
You do! So often, the first time a potential buyer sees your home, it is online. Professional photos can pique their interest or even take the place of a tour. And you know buyers will be back to look at the images once more before making an offer. That’s why I provide professional photos of every one of my listings!
Do I need drone photos?
Not everyone does. Homes with unique features, like a large pool, nearby lake, or extensive landscaping, may want to include a drone shot to highlight these amenities and make their listing memorable.
How do you determine what my house is worth?
I start by looking carefully at your home’s condition and features. I also look at recent comparables in your neighborhood. I believe it’s essential to be transparent about the evaluation process and to help you have realistic expectations for your home’s value.
How long does it take to close on a house?
On average, it takes 45 days. Plenty long enough to book a moving truck and to start dreaming about your next home.
What should I do to update my home before selling?
As a certified stager, I can provide a consultation to prep your home and show off its best features. Generally, some of the easiest ways to prep your house to sell is to wash your windows, update lighting and declutter. Buyers perceive anything smaller than a bowling ball as clutter. If you need new appliances, fresh paint, or new carpet, selling is the perfect time to make those updates – buyers notice wear and tear!
